| John is a spirited participant in many sports, having represented New South Wales in track and field in his early years he went on to play AFL, winning best and fairest for North Melbourne Thirds. John makes the most of living on the harbour, kayaking most mornings and sailing on weekends. He is a keen cyclist and a one-goal polo player.
